Ashish Malhotra

Ashish Malhotra is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager on the Investment Strategy Team. Ashish is responsible for risk management, analytics and liquid market and hedge fund strategies and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining CH Investment Partners in 2010, he spent three years managing risk and researching new investment strategies at Koch Supply & Trading in Houston. Ashish oversaw strategies that spanned across all liquid asset classes – equities, interest rates, FX, and commodities. He was also involved in developing new strategies in the equities and commodities markets, which generated alpha over comparable indices. Previously in his career, he worked in the investment team of a convertible arbitrage hedge fund. He has also been a consultant on pricing strategies with a myriad of industries in the Travel & Transport, Industrial and Financial Services sectors. He helped his clients generate revenue growth by better aligning their supply with their demand and understanding the sensitivity of their customer base to prices.

Ashish earned an MBA from Cornell University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
