Associate/Director, Partner Relations Team

Firm Overview

CH Investment Partners develops and maintains relationships with ultra-high-net-worth Partner Families, advising them on ways to build and protect generational wealth while providing superior on-demand service.

In addition, CH Investment Partners serves a network of co-investors, which we refer to as Platform Partners. This group invests alongside our Partner Families and employees through various investment opportunities.

The Partner Relations Team (PRT) develops new relationships, maintains coverage of existing Platform Partners, and has responsibility for the marketing function of the firm.

Position Overview

The Partner Relations Associate/Director will source and cultivate relationships with Partners and Prospects. Prospect types may include families, individual Qualified Purchasers, Single Family Offices, select RIAs and Multi-Family Offices.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business development professional, preferably with an emphasis on alternative investments. Additionally, this candidate has proven success across the RIA, family office (FO), and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) marketplace. Key needs for the role include expertise in relationship-building at the highest level, and thorough understanding of investors’ issues and concerns. We expect the Partner Relations Associate/Director to fulfill certain metrics for activity including outreach, scheduled calls/meetings, call reporting and task management.

Experience, Education, and Executive Skill Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of related industry experience, with a concentration in FO and UHNW relationship building
  • A comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, particularly of UHNW client needs and requirements in the single family (SFO) and multi-family office (MFO) segments of the market
  • Knowledge of the private markets investing landscape and the ability to learn complex investments in a short period of time to explain to clients and prospects
  • A proven track record of success in a strategic sales environment and an understanding of complex sales processes and sales lifecycle; proven experience in building new client relationships in the private wealth or illiquid alternatives setting
  • Superior ability to build and maintain relationships through demonstration of competency, partnership, and strategic thought
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to consult with partners to help provide solutions
  • High degree of self-motivation, a positive collaborative attitude, and a strong desire to be successful within a career in developing partnerships
  • Ability to travel as required
